Deep Green Rug Cleaning That’s Gentle On Your Material

Our start-to-finish green cleaning for every rug includes the following:
Inspection - this is to work out rug’s specific age and condition, so we can work out how best to clean it.
Dusting - a thorough dust will shake loose any grit and dirt lodged in the fibers. Allergens and dust particles will also be shaken loose.
Pre-Treatment - a gentle conditioning pre-treatment for spots and stains is then applied. This goes to work on stains and odors.
Cleaning - Either we will use a deep immersion technique or dry clean it. With immersion, the rug is dipped into a pool of shallow water and then washed carefully, rinsed and then patted dry with soft towels. With dry cleaning, it is carefully cleaned by hand only ecologically friendly products are used. We only wash by hand too, to be kind to the material.

We then take every rug into our climate-controlled and humidity free drying room. This ensures that it can dry quickly and that there’s no chance of mold and mildew forming. Finally, we give it some grooming - the pile is aligned and fringes are straightened. After the rug has been inspected one last time it will be returned to you, thoroughly cleaned, in a deep yet gentle and green way. It will smell fabulous and the material will be wonderfully clean but there will be no nasty chemicals in it.
